Peak IT and complexity: Keynote at Trondheim Developer Conference

On the same subject that we spoke in the UX Podcast – the increasing complexity, and the suspicion that we’re on the curve of diminishing returns from digital investments – here’s my keynote ”What if digital stops delivering value?” from the TDC conference in Trondheim two years ago.

If you’re curious about the concerned lady in the title slide, she’s the Queen from the Lewis Chessmen. Found on the island of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, but made in Trondheim (most likely) in the 12th century. I got the little replica the day before the conference, snapped a photo of her with the Trondheim harbor in the background and added for the presentation.
